You have a YouTube channel and some videos, but how do you make sure your videos actually reach people? How do you get more viewers on YouTube? This is the third episode of Webwatching where I talk to online video expert Jeremy Vest about YouTube tips & tricks. Also watch the first two videos in the Webwatching series about online video marketing .

Webwatching 11 Shownotes

  • Statistics: YouTube is the second largest search engine and the largest online video portal. YouTube averages more than 4 billion views every day.
  • Make sure your YouTube channel matches your website and social media accounts in terms of look & feel .
  • The more subscribers you have, the more “weight” your videos get on YouTube and the more likely they are to appear in search results. So take care of subscribers!
  • Use SEO to make VP Facility Manager Email Lists your videos discoverable.
  • Place videos and annotations of your own productions at the end of your videos so that your viewers click through to your videos.

VP Facility Manager Email Lists

  • Use YouTube Analytics to find out what kind of content your viewers like. If you like something, do it more often. If the statistics show that viewers drop out quickly, or drop out at some point, do it differently. Experiment as much as possible!
