Traffic Boosters Shareable Content

In the past year I have seen two methods that ensure a strong growth in visitor numbers: via web search and via shareable content (social sharing). Fast growth through web search is possible with a special tool for niche sites. Publisher Wayne Parker Kent shows you how to grow big thanks to shareable content with froot.nl. Both methods require discipline in publishing. Time for an explanation from practice.

Nils Rooijmans  of  Expose Media  asked me in 2010 about a niche in which we (Sanoma Media’s home deco cluster) saw potential. The topic ‘brocante’ was the first thought, because it is popular with the magazine ariadne at Home. So popular that the frequency of the accompanying Brocante special has been increased from Controlling Directors Email Lists 2 to 4 times a year. Expose Media examined the domain with their special method and what turned out? There are about 400,000 searches per month with the term ‘brocante’ in them.

At the end of 2010 we launched  and the site immediately showed stable growth thanks to the special working method with the tool ‘Blue expose ‘. Within a year we have reached 100,000 visits per month. I never knew that there is so much search for, for example, ‘brocante toilet roll holder’ or ‘brocante pointe shoes’. With the knowledge we gain with this tool, we as a website can once again feed the magazine ariadne at Home with interesting topics. The niche ‘children’s rooms’ turned out to be even more promising.  site in May 2011 and reached 100,000 visits within six months. It is an inspiring site about baby, children and teen rooms .
